Back in the 1950s, while filming a fire sequence for the movie X, the wind changed direction and Y was trapped in a raging blaze. Without a thought for his own life, Z, who played her wayward son Birju, dashed in with only a blanket to ward off the flames and carried her off to safety. Z ended up with painful burns and the love of his life, as within a year Y became Mrs Z.

Folklore traces "X" to the Lord Shiva who is said to have taught X to his son Murugan. While disguised as an old man, Murugan passed the knowledge of X to the sage Agastya who then recorded it and disseminated the skill among his students. X literally means "art of vital points". and is a component of traditional massage, medicine, and martial arts in which the body's pressure points are manipulated to heal or cause harm.Usually taught as an advanced aspect of unarmed Indian fighting systems, strikes are targeted at the nerves, veins, tendons, organs and bone joints. What is X?

X lost part of his "nose" in a sword duel against fellow Danish nobleman Manderup Parsberg. X had earlier quarrelled with Parsbjerg over the legitimacy of a mathematical formula, at a wedding dance at professor Lucas Bachmeister's house. Since neither had the resources to prove the other wrong, they ended up resolving the issue with a duel. Though the two later reconciled, the duel two days later, resulted in X losing the bridge of his nose. From this event X  became interested in medicine and alchemy. For the rest of his life, he was said to have worn a replacement made of silver and gold, using a paste or glue to keep it attached. Nonetheless, after chemically analyzing "a small bone sample from the nose" from the body exhumed in 2010, reported the prosthetic was "made out of brass". Identify X.
